In this super-fun 1-day class, you will learn how to design and carve a single-colour image for linocut printing on the letterpress with the option to add a line of text using metal type from our collection to the inside of the card. For the imagery-hating, you may also opt to use wood type from our collection instead of an image on the front of the card. This is the perfect class to get a taste of two different mediums (linocut and letterpress) in one jam-packed-yet-chill afternoon! The best part is that you'll come away with your own set of unique, hand-made holiday cards to distribute to friends and family (or coworkers if you're nice like that). We are offering two different sessions: Saturday, December 2nd, Noon-5pm OR Sunday, December 3rd, Noon-5pm Sign up with a friend and get $40 off ($20/each) using the code "BFF" - please check out together :) Course includes all the materials necessary to print up to ten cards each, but you're welcome to bring some extra paper in the event there is more time for printing. Snacks and tea/coffee will also be served, please let us know if you have any allergies in advance. Max 6 participants for ultimate friend-making.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you cannot make the course, please contact us as soon as possible and we will issue you a refund and make your seat available. If it is within 48 hours of the course's first date, unfortunately your fee will be non-refundable. A minimum of 3 students for every course is required for the course to take place, if we don't reach this minimum you'll be issued a full refund.
